In a landmark move, Tangkhul Naga Awunga Long (TNAL) president, Mr. Kashung Tennyson signed a resolution banning the hunting of the Chinese Pangolin in their jurisdiction in the state of Manipur. Supported by the Pangolin Crisis Fund, Wildlife Trust of India is working in Manipur to raise awareness about the declining population of pangolins as a result of poaching and illegal wildlife trade. The team has also been working with enforcement agencies to ensure stricter monitoring.
